Ford F-150 Raptor Truck

New Ford F-150 Raptor – Bay Area Dealer Review

Meet the new Ford F-150 Raptor truck. This rugged truck is the only F-150 that combines racing DNA with rough and tumble off-road capability. The Raptor is powered by a a high-output 450-hp 3.5L EcoBoost® engine with the Torque-On-Demand® transfer case. It rides on BFGoodrich® all-terrain tires with FOX Racing Shox™ and has an available 4.10 front axle with TORSEN® differential. No doubt about it, this Ford truck can get you where you want to go.

The Raptor’s Terrain Management System™ with six driver-selectable modes and Hill Descent Control™ allow this truck to crawl over or climb up rocky, muddy or slick surfaces with ease. When equipped with Ford’s Trail Control™, F-150 Raptor drivers can also set the off-road speed with system operated acceleration and braking that lessons the chance of getting stuck.

To compliment the Raptor’s outstanding capability, Ford has upped its aesthetics with aggressive exterior and interior styling. New Ford F-150 Raptor models will be the first trucks available in Ford’s “Performance Blue” color option, previously reserved for Ford performance cars. Raptor trucks will also be available with race inspired RECARO® front seats with enhanced bolstering in the seat back and cushion.
