Equipped with Ford’s class-exclusive new Pro Trailer Backup Assist feature, Super Duty trucks can negotiate trailers into tight spaces easier than ever before. The truck’s Trailer Reverse Guidance system shows trailer angle and direction, and provides steering suggestions to most efficiently direct a trailer backward.
Two new engine types are available for new model Super Duty trucks. These include a Ford-designed and built 7.3-liter V8 gasoline engine and a Ford-built third-generation 6.7-liter Power Stroke® diesel V8 engine. The standard 6.2-liter gasoline V8 is also available. These engines are mated with an all-new Ford-designed and Ford-built 10-speed heavy-duty automatic transmission with optional class-exclusive live-drive power takeoff provision. Ford is the only manufacturer to design and build all of its heavy-duty engine and transmission combinations to ensure that it works seamlessly with all chassis components and vehicle calibrations.
Exterior and interior styling are both rugged and sophisticated for new Super Duty trucks. Ford’s signature chrome grill with blue oval badging and powerful LED headlamps convey the strength and reliability Super Duty is known for. Inside the cab are comfortable and authentic materials like like genuine leather, quality coarse ash wood in black and modern black brushed aluminum ( King Ranch, Platinum and Limited models).
